hammer side lock action.  Manufactured second year of production in 1888 having Damascus barrels with a solid concave rib and a single bead front sight.  The right side hammer retaining nut is not present and the butt plate is not present either.  Stock measures 13.25" from front trigger to the end of the butt.  The walnut checkered pistol grip butt stock and forend both show assorted handling scratches and indentations most noticeable on the rear portion of the butt stock.  The pistol grip has a round grip knob and the forend has an inletted ebony tip.  Barrels retain a nice brown patina throughout with a twist pattern along with a few small areas of light freckling.  Receiver/frame, locks and hammers have a mottled gray/brown patina with little overall wear from handling present.  Bores have shine with a few small areas of surface pitting.  All items sold As Is per terms of the auction.
