Manufactured in 1908 being a takedown rifle having the rare King triple bead front revolving sight and adjustable rear. The butt plate is a steel crescent rifle type with the barrel being octagonal and retaining most of the blued finish showing thinning to the crisp edges. There are areas of freckling and light surface scratches in some areas of the barrel as well. The finish on the receiver has mostly thinned out and shows some light handling and freckling. The bore shines bright with the crescent rifle steel butt plate showing remnants of a painted finish. Smooth straight grip walnut butt stock stands mostly proud to metal throughout with very little handling present. The smooth walnut forend measures 9 3/8" long and shows little wear from handling as well. Both proof marks present on top of barrel flat and chamber.  Item is part of the Mark T. Hoke Estate.
